Definitions:

 Static Load Rating- defines the maximum load on a pallet that remains immobile for extended periods and does not change.
 Dynamic Load Rating- defines the maximum load on a pallet while in motion.
 Edge Racking- commonly referred to as unsupported racking where the only contact between pallet and rack is on the outside edge on two opposite side.
 Supported Racking- racking that provides bottom support to the outside as well as the inside of the pallet. Center bars and/or wire mesh decking are typical examples of inside support.
